Open School Day 2006

September 20, 2006

On the 1st of October 2006 Open Schoolday will take place at the HRCTEM. This year’s theme is directly linked to the 3 years of hard work @ IMIH. Visitors, teachers and other stakeholders will learn to understand that the HRCTEM is growing to become a centre of excellence in ICT integration in teaching and learning, management and administration. Indeed, today the college has a brand new resource centre, a new server with management systems, a renewed LAN all over the place, a virtual learning platform and a new administrative software…
The Open Schoolday programme is packed with surprising and exciting ICT competitions (of course!) for all ages at all levels. We will also distribute books, software and logistics to the pilot schools on that day full of festivities.

The yearplan 2007 will also be presented. Now that the HRCTEM is fully equipped, the pilotschools will receive all the VVOB/IMIH support they need in 2007/2008. Therefore, the focus will be on the integration of ICT in different curricula @ different levels and on reaching the 4th and final ICT development phase. We hope to turn the IMIH classrooms into inquiry oriented places!
